Apartment Reviews for Terrace Heights Apartments

I moved here a year and a half ago from another apartment complex across the street, and Kelly (the apartment manager) was one of the most welcoming, genuine, easy-to-talk-to apartment managers I have ever met. He went out of his way to make the move as easy as possible for me (it was a complicated NYE move), and he made sure that all the details were taken care of.

We moved into a top floor 3-bedroom unit, and it was/is absolutely beautiful. The apartment is gorgeous and well-made, and any maintenance requests have always been promptly attended to. Kelly runs his staff efficiently and always puts the residents first, and this is evident in the way all the staff interacts with the residents.

The grounds are well-kept and there are nice walking paths all over the property. So many of the residents here seem to be animal owners, and you will always see other residents outside walking their animals and enjoying the well-maintained grounds. There are dog waste baggy stands conveniently placed throughout the property – and garbages as well – so everything is close. The cabana has a new pool table, a Keurig (yay!), a sauna, an exercise room, and a nice outdoor pool that gets a lot of good sunlight during the summer months.

I love my apartment. I don’t want to move. But I am expecting my first child and I need to move closer to my job in Bellevue; otherwise I would keep renewing as often as I could. This is by far the happiest I have ever been with an apartment complex and apartment manager, and I will sorely miss Kelly and his team after I leave.

My fiancé and I have lived here just over a year and we absolutely LOVE Terrace Heights! Not only is our beautiful apartment built well, it’s perfectly comfortable and spacious. The property manager, Kelly, is so wonderful. He knows exactly what this property needs, no matter the situation. We have tenant appreciation barbecues, a fenced in dog park for residents, a stellar maintenance crew, ample parking, and market value based rent! Even when resigning our lease, the rent increase was below what we were expecting. This type of management makes for long term, happy, reliable tenants! We will be living at this property until we buy a house of our own. SO pet friendly and focused on a wonderful environment for all!

I lived at the Mountlake Terrace apartments for two years now and love it! Kelly the manager is amazing! He always makes sure he stays on top of all maintenance request. The only reason we are leaving is to move closer to work, otherwise we would stay here for another two or three years. This complex is close to I-5 and the shopping mall. In the summer we enjoy sun bathing by the clean pool, I will miss that. Overall I would recommend this place hands down! Thank you Kelly for all you do!

This complex has it all!!!! The apartments are seperated by number of rooms, the grounds are well kept and there are so many amenities to enjoy: pool, sauna, small gym (equipment could use some updating), basketball/tennis court, playground for the kiddos and long sidewalks.
So close to everything too! Fred Meyer, Albertsons, Grocery Outlet, Trader Joe’s, pretty much anything you can think of it located near 44th. I-5 North and South are very quick to get too as well.
When we toured the apartment, it was in slight disrepair because the previous tenants were there for 7 years. It only took them less than two weeks to paint, replace the carpet, update all appliances and make the place sparkle again. The finished product is nothing short of perfect.
My boyfriend and I are extremely happy and foresee living here for 2 or more years.

I’ve lived here for a year now, and it’s great.  I have two kids and the place is kid friendly.  The place is clean and well maintained.  The office manager Kelly has been very helpful with things and the maintenance staff if friendly and helpful as well.
It’s close to almost everything.  School, mall, grocery stores and Gas.

Great place to live.  🙂

I haven’t even officially moved in yet and I already love this place more than I could have hoped for.

I’ve visited the complex a number of times over the last few months ot scope it out, look at different units, and plan for a late-August move. Every time I drive through the complex is clean and well-kept, and I get a very comfortable ‘vibe’. Lots of trees and landscaping provide a lush feel and everything seems well-manicured.

By far, the most obvious benefit to TH is the manager, Kelly. He’s been super-accomidating and has worked so well with me to find the perfect unit for my needs and make the leasing as easy as possible. All residents who’ve come into the office for questions, package pickups, etc seem to have a great relationship with him. One day, I showed up early to meet him and overheard him on the phone with a resident trying to find a way to save them as much of their deposit as possible so they could break their lease after a roommate deserted them. What manager in the world tries to help with something like that? Most just take it as a chance to grab some easy cash for the property.

I’ll make sure to update my review once I’ve been there a while, but everything I’ve seen so far has been fantabulous, and I couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful property manager to work with thus far.

This place was great!  Kelly (property manager) was so helpful and kind.  He gave me a tour and you could tell that everyone liked him.  He seemed like the kind of guy to help you with anything.
Unfortunately my husband wanted to live closer to Bellevue (commute from Mountlake Terrace / Lynnwood was too much),  but this place was #1 on my list

Moving to an apartment after you’ve lived in a quiet house is hard. This apartment complex has exceeded my expectations, so far. I’ve been here for 3 months with my young daughter. I feel very safe here, which is extremely important to me. Everyone is correct, Kelly is a fantastic manager. He makes you feel welcome and taken care of. I’ve had a few issues with my upstairs neighbor being rude and noisy and he has taken care of it each time, as promised. I feel as though he truly cares about the community. Before move in, I was offered new appliances and new carpet for a small monthly increase in rent. I chose the upgrade and I’m glad I did. The apartment interior is very well maintained and has nice touches here and there. With the new carpeting and appliances it felt brand new. The grounds are well maintained and the maintenance guys are friendly and helpful. It’s close to everything, convinient to I-5, but still tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood.

Kelly is amazing and terrace heights is a great place to live! Great for ppl that commute into Seattle and the customer service is amazing. Kelly and Joe are responsive and efficient!

My family lives two years at Terrace Height and we had the most pleasant experience. The staff is professional and friendly lead by experienced caring manager, Kelly. Kelly is always available to help when we needed assistance. There is a pool at the apartment complex that my family enjoyed all summer. My daughter was impossible to drug out of the pool, which is always heated to a perfect temperature. No need to drive your children to play ground, it is right there at the complex! We lived in other apartment complexes in the area but Terrace Heights by far exceeded our expectations!

I must share that I love living at Terrace Heights. First of all, the manager here, Kelly, is the best manager I’ve meant. He has helped me in a number of ways. He always tries to create a great experience in Terrace Heights for me and my fallow neighbors . You can always see him moving around getting things done. He is always performing the best of his abilities. In another words, he is a great person, and a great manager. In addition, the maintenance people are very hard workers that know what they’re doing. They are also respectful and responsible.

Furthermore, these apartments are placed on the perfect spot. It’s placed within a quite neighborhood, yet very close to commercial plazas, convenient stores, schools and parks that will make your life easy.
More over, is pet friendly! Owners are very responsible for their pets so the apartments always remain clean and I’ve never heard a dog bark!
If you are thinking on moving, without doubt, Terrace Heights is a great option!

I have lived at Terrace Heights for 6 months now and have had a great experience! First and foremost, the manager Kelly Bennett is extremely cordial and helpful every time I meet with him. He gave me a great deal on the place and he always goes out of his way to help me. Any time there is a repair needed, the management responds right away and I have never had to wait long to get my lights replaced or my fridge fixed. The grounds are kept clean and it is never too dirty around the communal trash receptacles. Terrace Heights also has an outdoor pool, a sauna, a small gym, and a cozy lobby where I like to go read sometimes. I also like that the apartments are located near parks, with close access to grocery stores, the Alderwood Mall, and I-5 and I-405 entrances. It’s also near Mountlake Terrace High School. (I like to go run on their track.)

The community around the apartment is great too. It never gets too loud which is nice. I live in a 1-bedroom unit and the space is large. I have a big balcony and lots of storage space in my unit, including a walk-in closet! Terrace Heights is a dog/cat-friendly apartment which is also a plus. I am very happy I moved into Terrace Heights.

Yes to Terrace Heights ( 02/26/2012 )

I can say this place is way better than most. I have only been here six months, but considering the 5 other places in the past 4 years I lived at, this place all around a relief. 1st there IS actual parking easily available. The stores and freeway are nearby – but far enough away not to see or hear the traffic. Yes, we did have two very loud people move in above us on our second month living here, but the manager addressed the issue quickly and efficiently and with no bad feelings between anyone. Neighbors are either invisible, polite or at-least quiet. This is not top-of-the-line, but it is very nice for the price. Maybe see you around K&J.
